The last two cruises we went on with Carnival had the option of the Carnival HUB App. If you are new to cruising or haven’t been on a cruise with this option, then you may be wondering all about the Carnival HUB App. This is something that made cruising so much easier for our family and will for yours too! Another great thing is that it is now available on every single Carnival Cruise. When they first started using this app, they only rolled it out to select cruise ships.
First off, you can download the Carnival HUB App before you go on your Carnival cruise. Then it will give you a countdown and be ready to go the second that you get on the boat. You can download the application for free, but once on the ship if you want to have the option to chat with other people in your party you will be required to pay $5, but this is just a one-time fee for the entire cruise.
Do you remember the days of getting a Carnival Fun Times in your room and highlighting everything you wanted to do? If you are like me, then you end up losing it or leaving it in the room. Those days are over because the Carnival Hub App shows you everything going on that day. You can mark events that you want to go to and so can the other people in your party, which makes it where you can see if you are all interested in the same events. This made planning a lot easier for us.
This application also offers a ton more things such as a map of the ship and your account balance. You can look at what you have spent and keep track if you are on a budget while on your Carnival Cruise. Another fun thing is that you can check out your pictures from the entire cruise and even buy them right on the app, without having to go and search for your photo like you used to have to on the cruise. This saved a lot of time and also made it a lot easier for me to pick out which pictures we wanted to buy at the end of the week.
You should never go on a Carnival Cruise without downloading this application. You have to decide if paying for it is something that is worth it to you, though. If the other people in your party are going to pay for a larger Internet plan, then there is no reason to pay for the chat option on the app because you can do it in other ways. If not, then $5 for the entire cruise is well worth it to be able to talk to each other.
Do you remember the old days of taking a cruise and not being able to talk to the people in your party unless they happened to answer the phone in their room? We are all so lucky that those days are gone because of the Carnival HUB App.
