Keeping It ‘Local’
No need to think globally or about a passport. Rather, the best places everyone must visit once in their lives are all in the United States. They have something for everyone, no matter your interests, and that can be appealing. It can also make for a wonderful road trip, as every traveler gets something that they want. The first is Las Vegas, Nevada, and it is not just about gambling or showgirls. This has become one of the best places for artist residencies and unique eateries. A fan of the anime show, One Piece, or traveling with someone who is? There is a show-themed cafe at the Westwind Centre Plaza.

It features fried rice, fish, burgers, and fries, and it is said to be small but fun to stop at. As for music, there are a variety of residencies such as Janet Jackson, Dolly Parton, Barry Manilow, Donny Osmond, and the Backstreet Boys. Plus, Kelly Clarkson will be there, so it is set to be an incredible summer. Another must-see locale is Los Angeles, California. There is something to entice any traveler from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to Runyon Canyon, and some shopping on Rodeo Drive. This may be a pricier trip, but the memories last forever.

Chicago is a top spot and for good reason. Although it is the “windy city,” there is so much history to explore. From art museums to comedy, baseball, and amazing pizza, this is a trip for travelers of all ages. A great summer exploration is Washington, D.C. There’s beauty in the White House, as well as the Smithsonian, which has a no-cost entry. Movie fans will love the National Museum of American History, and the food spots are not to be missed. Hit up D.C. at least once.
