Going to Walt Disney World or Disneyland can make you feel like a kid all over again. Yet, what happens if you are pregnant when your next trip is approaching? Or you just want to head to the happiest place on earth in the second trimester. What can you safely do, aside from eat, and meet characters? A lot, so keep reading for all of the details.

Enjoying Disney World While Pregnant

The only thing that an expectant woman may not enjoy about Walt Disney World is the endless walking. That plus the heat can be an automatic deterrent, especially if you think you can’t go on any rides. Can you ride the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios? You sure can’t, but that is perfectly fine. Essentially, any rides with jolts and jabs like that one are to be avoided. At the same time, there is a long list of perfectly safe rides that a pregnant woman can enjoy. Of course, please consult with a doctor before riding any of these, or ones that may concern you.

Over at the Magic Kingdom, expectant mamas can safely enjoy the Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Peter Pan’s Flight, and It’s a Small World. There is even a chance that The Pirates of the Caribbean is okay, as well. Any shows are just fine, including Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Carousel of Progress, as well as Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. Heading over to Epcot? There’s a lot of fun to be had at that park. Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Journey into Imagination with Figment.

Hopping your way to Hollywood Studios? Get ready for a fun-filled day with Toy Story Mania!, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. There are also more parades and shows that can keep you entertained for the whole day through. Finally, Animal Kingdom has so many fun experiences, such as Na’vi River Journey and Wildlife Express Train. Kilimanjaro Safaris can also be fun, but it can be bumpy, so proceed with caution.

Other Fun Activities

Do not forget all of the parades and sing-alongs that are available at Walt Disney World. They happen at all times of the day, and are extremely interactive and enjoyable. Furthermore, there is so much food to try that something is always brewing no matter where you look. Now, if you need a break from the parks, that is completely fine. There are pools at every hotel on and off of the property, which often feature movies. Plus, there is Disney Springs, which has food, shopping, and eclectic items perfect for any Disney lover.

There are no rides at Disney Springs, but still so much to do that it does not matter. Something is always popping up around the year, and there are 70 places to grab a bite. Additionally, they have over 90 shopping spaces, so where can you go wrong? If that is not a possibility, or you need more options, check out the Boardwalk. There is music and more, plus if you are staying on the property, it is easily accessible. Finally, water parks can help you cool down or just relax in the sun.

At the end of the day, a pregnant woman can very safely enjoy Walt Disney World. There are many rides available, there is entertainment, and there are various food choices. Hopefully, this can ease your mind and you can feel far better taking that trip. Let us know your experience as a pregnant woman or partner at Disney.
